A professional competency-development, certification, authorization, and workforce-readiness platform provided by Safe Haven Systems Institute LLC. The system supports structured learning, competency assessment, evidence-based certification, facilitator development, reviewer governance, workforce readiness analysis, and controlled authorization across SHSI's five-level professional development pathway.
The Five-Level Pathway
A structured professional development pathway
Level 1
Foundation
Direct-care foundation: SHSI language, self-regulation, de-escalation, boundaries, and mandated reporting.
Level 2
Practice
Advanced practice for coaching and mentoring roles: pressure drills, incident debrief facilitation.
Level 3
Supervisor / Manager
Supervisory oversight: holding fidelity, coaching staff, and maintaining organizational alignment.
Level 4
Facilitator / Trainer
Trainer certification: delivering Levels 1–3 training and conducting competency assessments.
Level 5
Instructor / Leadership
Master instructor: trainer development, fidelity audits, and organizational implementation.
How the system works
Access requires authorization
Access to protected training, classrooms, and operational tools requires a current SHSI authorization. Authentication alone does not grant access.
Certification is evidence-based
Certification decisions are grounded in documented competency evidence, assessments, and facilitator review — not self-attestation.
Operational authority is separately controlled
Certification does not independently grant training, evaluation, reviewer, or classroom-delivery authority. Each is issued and tracked separately.
CIS & WRP
The Competency Intelligence System (CIS) supports competency intelligence; the Workforce Readiness Profile (WRP) supports workforce-readiness analysis.
Credentials after requirements
Open Badges 3.0 credentials are issued only after all applicable certification, evidence, and reviewer requirements are satisfied.
Organizational oversight
Reviewer governance, fidelity monitoring, and operational controls preserve integrity across organizational implementations.
Sign in with Google
SHSI uses Google Sign-In to securely authenticate your identity. When you sign in with Google, SHSI receives only your email address and basic profile name — we never see or store your Google password. Google Sign-In is used solely to verify your identity and determine your authorization level within the SHSI certification system. You may revoke SHSI's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.
