The Safe Haven Systems Institute (SHSI) Operations platform is a comprehensive training and certification system designed to implement the SHSI five-level pathway across organizations. Built for agencies, youth-serving programs, and facility networks, this platform manages the end-to-end lifecycle of staff training, from foundational direct-care certification through advanced master instructor training.

The SHSI model is a language-based, nervous-system-informed approach to youth interaction that prioritizes emotional safety, relational repair, and behavioral de-escalation. Our platform operationalizes this methodology by providing:

• Level 1 — Safe Haven Playbook: Foundation training for all direct-care staff, covering SHSI language, self-regulation, de-escalation, boundaries, and mandated reporting.
• Level 2 — Advanced Practice: Specialized training for staff taking on coaching and mentoring roles, with advanced pressure drills and incident debrief facilitation.
• Level 3 — Supervisory Oversight: Training for supervisors and program leaders to hold fidelity, coach staff, and maintain organizational alignment with SHSI principles.
